T-ball Closing Ceremonies

Coach Rich and Luke

Luke recently finished up his first T-ball season. He received his very first trophy at closing ceremonies on Saturday and was so excited! What made this year even more exciting was that he was lucky enough to play on his favorite team...the DODGERS! Closing Ceremonies included some very fun games too. (See Below)

Luke is playing a team relay where they had to spin around with their forehead on the bat, then hula hoop, then run through a maze and bring a fish back to the team bucket before the next team member could go!

Friends = Fun

Summer time is just around the corner and you know what that means...friends...sleepovers...and fun! The kids got an early start this past weekend. Michael and Ethan came over for video games, board games and movies! They all had a great time and can't wait for summer...just a few more days!

Summer is almost here!

With just a few more days of school, our family is beginning to get summer fever! I was hoping to leave up the "graduation" background until the end of the week....but, I just couldn't do it! Be sure to check back often because all 3 of the boys are being promoted this week and I'll be sure to post pictures!

Hardwork Pays Off

The kids all received awards this month in school. Dylan was given student of the month. Jacob made the honor roll and Mariah received the walk of stars (no cards pulled, all assignments turned in) and hall of fame (outstanding achievement and effort) awards. They have been working very hard this school year and we are ALL looking forward to a break this summer. Good job guys! Dad and I are very proud of you.

Would you like a lil' rain and hail with your coffee?

Diane and I had planned to meet up this morning so that Luke and Chase could play on the play ground at the mall while we had coffee. Little did we know that the weather called for thunderstorms today! It began hailing while we were there, too bad the picture doesn't clearly show it! So, while we were stuck inside for a little bit Chase and Luke had their apple juice (pretending it was coffee) and decided they were old men...one was Harry the other Diego!

EARTHQUAKE.....or was it?

We were awaken early this morning by such a loud bang that we thought it was an earthquake! We apparently were experiencing a thunder storm, however, it sounded like some thing much worse! We don't usually get this type of weather in SoCal...! The results were BEAUTIFUL sky's!

I Need A Vacation!

My sweet Mariah performed in a play on Tuesday evening! The play was entitled, I Need A Vacation. She played the part of "Mom"! It was extra fun because she performed with two of her friends from church and school, Christopher and Alexis. She did such a great job. We are so proud of you Mariah! You have such a gift for expression and excitement! You are growing into a wonderful young lady.
