More Birthday Fun

We met up at Vince's, with family, for my birthday this year and it was yummy!  I feel very blessed to have such a wonderful family.  The kids even made me a chocolate birthday cake!  Thank you for celebrating with me everyone!

A Spa Day

Diane and I spent the day at the spa this past weekend to celebrate my birthday.  It was so wonderful.  We hung out by the pools all day and sipped our pina coladas.  We also tried the steam room (we only lasted about 5 minutes) and the roman baths.  She even treated me to a massage, man was that relaxing!  How blessed I feel to have such a great friend in my life...we always have a blast together!

A little mud never hurt anyone!

Diane begins her mud bath...notice the big clump of mud in the background!
When you get out of the mud bath you head over to this area to finish applying the mud to your legs!
Here we are in the Wafa...this is a rock steam room you can sit in after you have applied the mud.

Although we've been to Glen Ivy before, we've never tried the whole mud thing...it was interesting!  You go into the mud pool and slather red mud/clay all over yourself then go lay in the sun and let it dry.  After it dries you flake it off then go rinse off.  It is suppose to soften and exfoliate the skin...it worked!  It was just so odd to see grown women walking around with mud all over them, like it was so normal!

Think Blue

Mario and I went out with Matt and Jen to the Dodger game Friday night!  We had such a fun time...

Bowling

We took the kids bowling this week.  It was the first time we had tried this as a family and it was great!  Everyone enjoyed themselves!  It turns out that Dylan is a VERY good bowler, he gave his dad a real challenge.

He Did It!

Today was the day...Luke finally was able to cross his eyes!  He has been working on this for a long time now.  He was very proud of himself.  Some of the the other things on his list to accomplish before he turns 5 include...whistling, snapping, the taco tongue and loosing a tooth!

Biking in Santa Monica

We got up early an went to the Santa Monica Pier yesterday morning.  They have a bike trail that runs along the shore that we have been wanting to try.  We rode 20 miles round trip!  The weather was so nice and the kids had a really fun time!  It's one of the things we enjoy doing as a family that everyone looks forward to.  I didn't take many pictures because we were just enjoying some family time...
