A weekend in San Diego

Mario and I spent our weekend in San Diego for a friends wedding! The wedding was beautiful. Even purple...my favorite. We got to see other friends from high school too. It was great to catch up with everyone. The next morning we found a little place for breakfast and went to Seaport Village to shop. Thanks to all of our wonderful friends and family who were willing to take a kid for the night!

Soccer Season

Mariah's soccer season started a couple weeks ago and we are having such a fun time already! Mario is coaching again this year and loving it. This season he gets to coach with a friend of ours which is perfect. Mariah loves this sport...I think she's found her "thang"!

Handsome Kid

Dylan got his glasses and can see much better now! I think he looks very distinguished and older too!

Four Eyes

Much to Dylan's dismay, he needs glasses. It was becoming clear that he needed his eyes checked when he couldn't read things off the TV while sitting on the couch. A visit to our eye doctor confirmed our suspicions and he picked out a great style. Don't worry...I'll post a picture when he gets them! :o)

Disneyland

Reese, Luke and Casey

We spent our Labor Day at the happiest place on earth! Our passes expired quite a bit ago and we didn't renew them, so this was a very fun treat for the kids. To top it off they got to go with their cousins which made it all the more exciting! Now that the little boys are taller we were able to enjoy some of the bigger rides. Luke's favorite this time was Star Tours. Good times!

Look Mom...No Training Wheels!

Daddy is demonstrating how FUN and EASY it is to ride with no training wheels!
Luke decides to try it and doesn't think it's as FUN or EASY as dad says at first!
He's almost got it!

Luke is learning to ride without training wheels on his small bike. He is getting a bigger bike for his birthday next month and we thought it might be easier to learn to ride the smaller one first. However, if you ask Luke...it's not! But he does a good job of going out to practice in the evenings. I'm sure he'll have the hang of it in no time!
